As expected, the east facing slopes of Blanchots have added an extra zip to the palate in this Grand Cru. An elegant wine which is already drinking well, but with so much more to come. White-clay is interspersed here with blue--clay, adding to the mineral flavours and creating a Grand Cru with great finesse. Highly successful in 2019. Bichot's investment at Long-Depaquit is certainly paying off. -D
