Barbecue Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients Available at Martha’s Vineyard | Serves 2
Ingredients
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 lb fresh brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 shallot, sliced thinly
- ½ cup golden raisins
- 1 tbsp White Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 ounces Bachans Barbecue Sauce**
- ½ cup Marcona Almonds, chopped coarsely
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cracked Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a large sauté pan over medium low heat, cook brussels sprouts in 2 tablespoons olive oil, cut side down until golden
Flip brussels over and add shallots
Sauté for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally
Increase heat to medium high and add Bachans Barbecue sauce
Toss to coat and continue cooking 2-3 minutes until vegetables are glazed in sauce
Add raisins and almonds and stir
Season with salt and pepper
