When one early vintage came out too pale even for a Chianti label, Riccardo Campinoti said “basta” and called it Toscana Rosso. Native-yeast fermented and aged in large oak, it shows wild raspberry, crunchy cherry, laurel, and wet stones, with tart acidity and a saline finish.
