One of the most concentrated wines in the vintage, as well as the top wine of the estate, the 2015 IGP Côtes Catalanes Pharaon is a mix of 60/40 Grenache and Syrah that boasts a saturated purple color as well as loads of currants, plums, chocolate, roasted herbs and licorice. Rich, full-bodied, unctuous and mouth-filling, with serious flavor authority and depth, it needs a year or so of bottle age and will keep for a decade or more. JD
