95:RP The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Hourglass Estate is deep purple-black in color and offers up notes of baked blackcurrants, plum preserves, blackberry jam and violets with touches of licorice, black soil and cracked pepper. Full-bodied, rich and decadent in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with great length. RP
