"The 2015 Zinfandel El Diablo is best described as a field blend planted with numerous red and white varieties. Exotic and intense, with ripeness pushed to the edge, the Diablo possesses superb depth. Inky dark cherry, menthol, lavender and rose petal nuances add to the wine's distinctive personality."

El Diablo vineyard, situated in the northern part of the Russian River Valley AVA, has a long and storied history. Planted to mixed blacks on clay loam soils, the site has been farmed continually by Hector Garcia since it was planted.

Hector knows the ins and outs of developing head trained vineyards, and together with Ehren's Zinfandel expertise we expect some wonderful wines coming from this marvelous site starting with the 2015 vintage.
