The vineyards of Chateau de la Greffiere are located near the village of La Roche Vineuse - which translated means 'vinous rock - in the wine region of Macon part of France's Burgundy. Soils here are limestone marls, perfect for Chardonnay grapes.

Backbone and structure here, without being overpowered by oak aromas and flavors. Aromas and flavors are of fresh peaches, pears, golden apples, citrus - lemon-tangerine - apricots, chalky minerals and baking spices. The finish is balanced and clean.
