The vines of this fiercely independent domaine are all at least 60-years-old. Laurent Martelet is vigneron at this small estate, named for his mother-in-law and located in the hamlet of Blagny. "La Genelotte" is a Premier Cru site just north of Blagny, on the Meursault side, high on the slope above the village. This Chardonnay is a powerful, classic, long-lived Meursault.The Genelotte vineyard is also a monopole meaning that Laurent and Hélène are sole proprietors.
